The Cycling Without Age appeal is raising money to keep this much-loved service running.
It’s with a heavy heart that we inform you of the possible closure of Cycling Without Age in Portsmouth and Hayling Island. Due to funding challenges and other factors, our ability to continue providing our unique trishaw rides to lonely and isolated people with mobility issues is at risk.
This program has brought so much joy to our community; allowing people to feel the wind in their hair and reconnect with the outdoors. It’s a way to bridge generations, foster a sense of togetherness while boosting people’s mood and wellbeing.
We need your support more than ever. If you can help in any way—through donations, volunteering, sharing your skills and knowledge or spreading the word—please do. Let’s keep the wheels turning and ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy the freedom and joy of cycling.
