This week, our Portsmouth and Hayling Island service are receiving their big screen moment in Portsmouth. We’re thrilled to share that our short-form documentaries are being screened on the brand-new large screen at Portsmouth Guildhall Square!
With the recent installation of a brand-new large screen, the space is coming alive with local stories that matter. Every hour this week, our short-form documentaries have been screened to the public.
These films aren’t just promotional, they’re personal. They reflect the journeys, resilience, and joy of those involved. And we’re really proud of them.
A creative collaboration
These films were made in partnership with the talented team at Enable Ability Interactive. Working closely with our Pilots, staff, and clients, they’ve crafted four beautiful videos that highlight key aspects of our service. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when creativity meets compassion.
The documentary themes are:
This event also marks a milestone. It’s the service’s first full year of operation after receiving a donation that kept it running. Once again, we thank The League of Friends for their truly humbling donation.
This is a moment to honour not just our funders, but every member of our community who rallied behind us with fundraisers, social shares, and heartfelt support.
Screen time
These films will be shown every hour, on the hour for a week. It’s a great opportunity to present new users to our service. It’s also a great way to show off the incredible work of the Enable Ability Inter Activ team. They are currently fundraising themselves. Which you can learn more about by visiting their fundraising site.
A massive thank you to our pilots who make this all possible. Your volunteering has touched the lives of hundreds of people in your communities.
