A Fun night at the Waverly gig was had by all. The evening featured a live band, prizes and lots of dancing! The Waverly Bowls Club has hosted community events for almost a century. So, it was fitting they offered us the chance to host an evening to raise money for our local services Counselling with You and our Hundreds and Thousands campaign.
The evening started at 7:30pm, with almost a hundred people arriving to enjoy an live music, competitions and cheer. We were also privileged to have the former Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth join us, too! Both of whom seemed to have a great time.
In build up to the evening, we reached out to the community to help us raise prizes for our raffle and auction. We received incredible donations from a wide range of local businesses, individuals and originations. From signed Portsmouth football t-shirts, to Kenwood mixers, lots of raffle tickets were sold and prizes given! The event took place to raise money for these two important campaigns:

It was an honour to be part of such a wonderful night. To be supported by so many organisations who donated amazing raffle prizes. The Waverly Road Bowls gig was a brilliant night, filled with warmth and connection. The band kept everyone entertained, and it was clear just how much effort had gone into organising the raffle and the event itself – bringing us all together in support. It was heartening to see colleagues from different departments pulling together for two such important causes and it was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make as a whole team and community.
