We created our social media channels to reach a wide audience, share information, and exchange ideas. As our charity deals with vulnerable people, as well as those who may be victims of violence and abuse, we monitor the replies and posts daily.
To keep these spaces constructive and welcoming, we ask everyone to follow these rules of conduct:
- Be respectful: Treat all users with courtesy. Do not post anything offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or hateful.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality: Only share content intended for public view. Do not post anything that invades someone’s privacy. Doxing and other similar practices will be immediately deleted.
- Stay on topic: Keep comments and posts relevant to the conversation and provide constructive feedback.
- Follow the rules: Comply with the platform’s terms of service, our guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Respect intellectual property: Do not share content that infringes on copyright or trademarks.
If posts do not follow these rules, we reserve the right to remove content. Continued violations or unconstructive posts may result in a user being banned from our social media channels. Persistent and malicious conduct will result in escalation to local authorities.
Thank you for helping us create a positive and supportive online community!
