As part of our celebrations for National Trustees week, we are profiling our own. We wanted to celebrate the work they do by getting to know them each a little better. Today we profile Jonathan Crutchfield!
Trustees Week: Jonathan Crutchfield
What attracted you to becoming a Trustee?
I was attracted to the role because I wanted to use my connections, cross-sector, strategic knowledge, leadership and Board experience to inform, give confidence and make a massive difference to both Board colleagues and the executive team.
Why did you choose The YOU Trust?
I chose YOU because it is my Charitable family of passion and reward. After 25 odd years involvement in YOU, through good times and threadbare, I know what makes it tick. I wanted to give it what’s left in my tank for free!
What have you learnt so far?
I’ve learned that optimism, passion and people make life better for other people. We are all vulnerable and fallible. We all have stuff to give and at times we all need to take. Our values are our guide and our humble roots.
