Basic Full Time Salary: £25,058 + £2500 R&R Allowance / 20 hour post will be pro-rata'd

Essential Requirements:
We are looking for a person who will:
-Hold a recognised relevant qualification or be willing to undertake training within a year of appointment
-Have experience of supporting men and women who experience/perpetrate domestic abuse and violent behaviours
-Have knowledge of best practice in relation to children, young people and families experiencing domestic abuse
-Have an understanding of the dynamics and impact of domestic abuse and how best to support perpetrators
-Have experience of effective multi-agency and partnership working

The Role
We are recruiting two Behaviour Change Workers to our new Swindon service. The role of the Behaviour Change Worker, is to work closely with people whose behaviours are causing harm to others where those behaviours and actions are considered domestic violence or abuse. You will work from the point of referral to provide high quality assessments and interventions to those who use abusive behaviours in their intimate or familial relationships. The role involves multi agency working and engaging with local partners and will work with individuals and families who are experiencing domestic abuse.
