Group Finance Administrator – Fareham
The role of the Group Finance Administrator is to provide support to the Group Assistant Management Accountant in the preparation of management accounts, specifically by maintaining the purchase edger and cash transactions/balances within the group.

- Attention to Detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
- GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths at 5-9 grade
- Good organizational skills and time management

The appointed Group Finance Administrator will:
1. Accurately record all Purchase ledger transactions
2. Maintain the Purchase Ledger and ensure all supplier statements match our records
3. Prepare regular BACS payment runs
4. Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and check new bank details
5. Liaise with service managers to gain authorisations and resolve supplier queries
6. Accurately record all petty cash transactions
7. Organise cash requests from the services and monitor cash levels held at Head Office.
8. Prepare the banking (income) and order delivery of cash from office in a timely manner as and when required
9. Create sundry payments on request, ensuring relevant authorisations and coding have been received.
10. Assist with other areas within the department, including taking telephone calls and assisting with ad hoc finance duties e.g. archiving, staff mileage, maintaining shared information files and general admin duties

This role forms part of the Finance Team whose aim is to provide an effective Finance service at all times.
This role reports to the Group Assistant Management Accountant
