Last week, residents from Tamarine, Brierwood, and Old Timbers, alongside several other support services, came together for a joyous VE Day celebration. It marked the occasion with laughter, music, and community spirit. Friends and family joined the festivities, including visitors from Green Lane and Serpentine support services, making the event even more special.
The highlight of the day was a spectacular performance by guest singer Lindsey, who delivered a heartfelt set of classic VE Day songs. Residents and guests eagerly joined in, singing along and waving their flags in a wonderful display of unity.
The celebration extended beyond music, with a variety of garden games keeping everyone entertained. The cheerful atmosphere drew in neighbours, who shared the fun by waving and laughing as the party unfolded under the warm sunshine.
