This week we have been enjoying the summer sun! Which was great for our new rides in partnership with the wonderful Solent MS Therapy Centre.
The Solent MS Centre provides hyperbaric oxygen treatment, among a wide range of other therapies, to assist their users. Their staff, Jo Jennings, Claire Barnett and Ruth Jansen, provide an amazing, caring space for their members.
Cycling Without Age Portsmouth wanted to offer members the chance to ride in one of our trikes. So, we picked up a few riders and took them out along the shoreline at Alexandra Park. They got to feel the wind in their hair while enjoying the perfect weather. We enjoy meeting new people and the conversations that we have together.

This is a a great collaboration between Cycling Without Age Portsmouth and The Solent MS Centre that will help many people get out and about. While our riders are out and about they often check in on other projects linked to social prescribing. Like the re-wilding taking place at Hilsea Lido.
If you know of a group that would benefit from a visit from us, please contact us at cylingwithoutage@theyoutrust.org.uk. Or for any individual that would benefit from our service, please download our self-referral form from and return to us.
We are currently focussing on Clinically Extremely Vulnerable, and Clinically Vulnerable individuals and groups, whilst also continuing to assist those who are isolated or alone, to help to securely build the confidence to reintroduce to everyday community and life.
