Zurich has once again shown their commitment to social responsibility by donating hampers to users of our social prescribing services.
Twice a year, Zurich employees hold an event to nominate three charities they donate to. Once again, we’ve been fortunate enough to receive wonderful hampers! This is the fourth time Zurich has chosen one of our brilliant services, and we are so grateful!
Amanda Sayers, a Senior Reinsurance Associate at Zurich, arranged for hampers that contained goodies that are perfect for mental wellbeing. They contain grow pots, puzzles, triangle pencils and a miniature herb garden that clients with dementia will appreciate. We’ll also distribute them to those who use our social prescribing service. It’s initiatives like this that can really make a positive impact on the lives of those we work with.
I chose you as part of the ZCT Summer challenge having supported a festive challenge in 2021 & seeing how passionate you, & other staff members are about what you do, your kindness & supporting of others. Also knowing that the goody / gifts bags on offer can bring a little moment of happiness & escapism for your clients as well as support their wellbeing.
Having companies like Zurich regularly empower their employees to make positive social impacts is so important. Not only does it bring happiness to those we work with, but acknowledges the importance of social responsibility. And we thank Amanda so much for choosing us! We hope to take Amanda out for a spin on one of our Cycling Without Age trikes to distribute some of the hampers.

The hampers are part of The Zurich Community Trust (ZCT)’s commitment to building resilient communities and helping charities who have been impacted by COVID and subsequently the cost-of-living crisis.
A few months ago, Zurich volunteers helped us plant trees and flowers at the Hilsea Lido.
While hampers are lovely for the people we work with, volunteers are able to have immediate impact within their communities. Zurich does this by sharing the skills of their employees in the community.
