Essential Requirements
The appointed candidate will:
1. Have a driving licence and full access to a car with business insurance
2. Be happy to be part of an on call rota
3. Be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
4. Be trustworthy in all that I do
5. Understand the importance of confidentiality when working with clients experiencing domestic abuse.
6. Have 1 year experience working with survivors of DA
7. 1 year administration experience

The Role
- I am part of the Hub team receiving referrals and enquiries, evaluating risk and allocating to colleagues as required
- I lead, monitor and respond via Webchat, responding to each person needs for information and/or support
- I will co-produce safety plans with the client and ensure their needs and circumstances are reflected correctly
- I carry out safety planning and house surveys ensuring focus on target hardening and sanctuary
- I work with the hub team to ensure referrals are sent to the correct SIDAS team, creating a holistic and supportive pathway
- I advocate on behalf of clients in a professional and respectful manner, encouraging and enabling clients to have their own voice and develop self-resilience
- In times of high referrals, I will hold a small case load and work with each client as their DVA support worker
- I will ensure anyone waiting for allocation is supported and any changes in risk is identified, carrying out further risk assessment and safety planning
- I capture and update case management systems accurately with all required documentation and, if jointly working, ensure colleagues are updated regarding my actions
- I support the manager, workers and volunteers at drops ins and groups, where needed

- You will be experienced, skilled and enthusiastic
- You will be compassionate, empathic and sensitive and be passionate about working with survivors of domestic abuse
- You will be used to working in a fast paced environment
- You will be able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team
- You will be flexible in managing tasks and time, prioritising risk within this
