It’s day three of National Apprenticeship Week, and today we’re chatting with Kristieanne. We have many people in our charity who have chosen to undertake an apprenticeship because it can help them reach new work goals. And Kristieanne is no different in wanting to reach new goals.
Why did you do your apprenticeship?
To enhance my skills as a manager and to gain further skills to be more confident in my role.
What is the biggest thing you learned doing it?
So far, I have done two assignments. I have looked into learning styles and learnt a lot about prioritising workload. I’ve looked into different methods and the biggest takeaway so far was prioritising tasks and colour coding the importance.
How has it helped in your day-to-day work?
It has helped me to prioritise my workload better, understand different personalities and how to manage and approach different people.
How do you think it will help with your future?
I think this will help me with my career and progression within The YOU Trust. I would like to move up within the organisation and doing this course will hopefully help me achieve this.
